Kapital Inn is located on the penthouse floor of an elegant 19th century building in the heart of Budapest's 6th district. We spent two years searching for and remodeling a penthouse apartment. We own the entire top floor of this building which we have converted into a luxurious Inn/B&B for our guests. Although there is no elevator, our generous and private rooftop terrace is guaranteed to compensate for the climb. Kapital Inn has four rooms, so it is just the right size to meet other interesting travelers and intimate enough for or us to provide unrivaled customer service.

THE OWNER - ALBERT

I grew up in Central Hungary and graduated from the Hungarian Culinary Institute. After my military service, I studied English in London. Following a 6 year college detour
in the USA, I returned to Budapest working as an executive at a 5-star hotel while creating Kapital Inn.

TERRACE & BREAKFAST ROOM

One of the unique characteristics of Kapital Inn is its 600 square foot private terrace. Weather per-
mitting, breakfast will be served here. We also have a fully fitted indoor breakfast area, stocked with complimentary goodies for all the guests to enjoy, as they unwind after a busy day of sightseeing.

GUEST OFFICE

No need to bring your own laptop, although we have Wi-Fi Internet throughout Kapital Inn and laptops in the Deluxe rooms, our private guest office comes equipped with all you will need to conduct a bit of business. This is also where you will find books to read and DVDs for viewing in your room.

We are located in the heart of the city next to Andrassy Avenue, the exclusive tree lined avenue of Budapest’s District VI.

Our location puts us within a few minutes walk of every major attraction on the Pest side of the Danube River, as well as every major form of public transportation in Budapest. When you decide to rest your weary legs, you can ride on the oldest metro in Continental Europe, since our Inn is only a two minute walk from one of its stops.

Although we are easily accessible by public transportation, the most convenient way to reach Kapital Inn is by taxi. Assuming you are flying to Budapest, the taxis from the airport are inexpensive and the fares are fixed, so we highly recommend this option. Your fare will cost exactly 21 Euros from the airport to Kapital Inn and 16 Euros from Kapital Inn to the airport (or 5,100 Forints and 3,990 Forints respectively). These rates change frequently, so for up-to-date info please consult the Főtaxi website. Money can be exchanged at the airport, or for better rates in the city.
